|Artist Edition Prints|
|Artist Editions are printed using museum quality pigment (Giclée prints) on 100% cotton fine art paper. This printing method offers exceptional color depth and tonal range with a permance rating exceeding 80 years when framed behind glass.|
Artist Editions are printed by me using an Epson r2400 K3 Ultrachrome Ink Printer. I use Epson Ultrasmooth Fine Art paper made from 100% cotton rag with an acid free base. It is one of the highest quality professional papers available for fine art printing and results in stunning detail and image quality.
The prints are printed on a sheet leaving a one inch plain white border around the edge. An 11 x 17 inch image, for example, is printed on a 13 x 19 inch sheet. The prints are unmounted to preserve their archival quality, but are shipped in a acid free clear plastic bag protected between two heavy pieces of acid free backing board. This in turn is placed in a protective box or envelope.
The sheet is hand signed and numbered in pencil in the white border on the bottom of the image. Both the capture and completion of creative work dates are included. This same information is also added to the back of the print in ink. Included with the print is a hand signed certificate of authenticity including details about the photograph, the print, and my own thoughts about the work.
Artist Editions are not artificially limited to a specific number of prints per image. I take great care to produce a high quality print that matches my vision for the photograph. The finite quantity of my time for the work and my lifespan naturally limit the number of prints that can be produced in this way. I produce a small number of artist proofs to perfect the printing process and then each subsequent print of an image will be numbered 1, 2, 3, 4, and so on.
While viewing my portfolio, the menu at the bottom of the screen offers options to view pricing information and to add an image to a shopping cart. Shipping is included in the price of the print. I offer a 30 day money back guarantee for all my Artist Edition prints in the event you are unhappy with the result.
You might notice that only some of the prints are available for purchase at this time. I do not make a print available until I've produced an Artist Proof to ensure the image is of high enough quality to be an Artist Edition. If you see an image that you are interested in owning that I have not made available, please contact me directly at email@example.com. You may also contact me this way if you prefer not to purchase online and wish to discuss alternatives.
